The University of Texas at Tyler seeks applicants for the Research Experience for Undergraduates program in mathematics, to be held from June 10, 2024 to August 2, 2024. Students will work on original research problems in groups of three, led by an experienced faculty mentor. The research projects will be in graph splines, integer partitions, and inverse semigroups. Each student will be paid a stipend of $4,800. Housing will be provided and there will be some support for meals and travel.

• Applicants must be undergraduates pursuing a degree in mathematics.
• The program is NSF-funded, and only available to US citizens and permanent residents.
