The Materials Research Laboratory (MRL) is seeking undergraduate science and engineering majors who are interested in pursuing a research experience overseas. This
internship program will send US Science and Engineering majors to international partner institutions for a 10-week summer research experience. Internships are available atresearch centers in Dublin- Ireland; Saarbruecken-Germany and Goethenborg-Sweden.
Interns will gain first-hand experience in scientific investigation in a dynamic, collaborative research environment. Participating students will be matched individually with designated mentors, working in collaboration throughout the program.
Most projects will be in interdisciplinary Materials Science; we particularly encourage applicants with backgrounds in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Materials or Physics
This program is open to any science or engineering undergraduate student who meets the following requirements:
