Modeling the Dynamics of Biological Systems

Description

Welcome to the Modeling the Dynamics of Biological Systems Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) Program at NC State University! We invite rising sophomore-junior students from primarily undergraduate institutions (PUIs), Deaf-serving institutions, or those who hold PEER identities to engage in one of many possible independent research topics that use imaging and modeling approaches to study biological systems across departments in Raleigh, NC.

Eligibility

  • The program is open to all rising sophomore, junior, and senior undergraduate students with a demonstrated interest in biology research and who are enrolled in a program leading to a baccalaureate degree. Applicants will be evaluated based on their statement of interest, transcript, and letters of recommendation. We particularly encourage students from underrepresented minority groups and from colleges with limited research opportunities to apply. Prior research experience is not required.
