The Abbott Scholarship Fund will provide 5 scholarships for nursing students; 2 scholarships for nurse practitioner path students; and 1 scholarship for a PhD path student.

Selection criteria will include:

• Interest in clinical trials and the clinical research process.
• Interest in improving clinical trial diversity
• Interest in primary care
• Community background/upbringing
• Financial need
• Academic performance
• Vulnerable populations interest/volunteerism
