This scholarship was established in 2002 for the purpose of providing financial assistance to a rising sophomore, junior, or senior who is a declared major in the College of Arts and Sciences.

• The student must also have exemplified the ideals of Albert Schweitzer through community service.
• Students must be enrolled full-time for the upcoming academic year (fall and spring) in order to apply and receive this scholarship and have a 3.0 or higher GPA.
