Are you a current or incoming college student residing in Connecticut? If so, you may be eligible for the American Savings Foundation Scholarships! Each year, the scholarships award between $1,000 and $4,000 to approximately 100 current high school seniors, current college students, or nontraditional adult students residing in any of the 64 Connecticut towns served by the American Savings Foundation. The scholarships are awarded primarily based on financial need, community involvement, and other indications of a strong desire to achieve goals through education. Applicants must also demonstrate financial need, and be United States citizens or non-U.S. citizens who are eligible to apply for federal student aid, or students who have been granted Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status.
If you’re from one of the 64 eligible Connecticut towns and want help paying for your college costs, we encourage you to apply! Keep on reading to learn more.
