The BBVA Compass Scholarship for Cyber Security was established in December 2014 by BBVA Compass. The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to undergraduate students majoring or minoring in Cyber Assurance within the School of Computing.

• undergraduate students majoring or minoring in Cyber Assurance within the School of Computing.
• Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Preference shall be given to students with a low to moderate income background as defined by the acceptable supporting criteria per the Community Reinvestment Act and HUD.

Current acceptable criteria includes:

• students from those high schools that participate in the free and reduced lunch program,
• financial documentation of applicants indicating low to moderate income per HUD guidelines for their respective city/county.
