The Charlean and Chandra Brown Academic Success Endowed Scholarship was established in 2017. Chandra Brown Stewart, a graduate of USA and a USA Trustee, and her mother, Charlean Brown, both received their degrees in education. Chandra and Charlean believe every student should have a chance to receive their degree. This award was created for the purpose of providing financial support to full-time undergraduate students that are participating or have participated in academic success programing through USA's Student Academic Success Office. This may include academic workshops, the Institutional Scholarship Earn Back Program, or Study Smart.

• Applications should be submitted in JagSPOT prior to the application deadline.
• Students must have a 3.0 cumulative USA GPA for consideration.
• Preference will be given to students that are first generation college students and students from historically underserved populations.
