This scholarship was established by Mr. Michael McGlothren, a graduate in Philosophy, in memory of his brother, Mr. Charles R. McGlothren, Jr. This scholarship is awarded in the Spring Semester to philosophy majors with the highest academic merit as determined by the Department faculty.

• Student must have a minimum of a 3.5 GPA in philosophy courses and have completed their first year.
