This scholarship was established for the purpose of providing financial assistance to full-time incoming freshman students who plan to have a career in engineering that is directly relevant to Chemical Manufacturing.

• Students must major in either Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Student must have a minimum 21 ACT or SAT equivalent and a minimum 2.5 high school GPA.
• Preference shall be given to students from Washington County.
• Children of CIBA employees still in dependent status may also be considered. If there are no qualified nominees from Washington County or eligible dependent children of CIBA employees then residents of Mobile, Baldwin, Clarke, Choctaw & Escambia counties in Alabama may be considered for eligibility.
