Cybersecurity Scholarship

Description

AFCEA Cyber Security Scholarship provides financial assistance to students working on an undergraduate degree in a field of cyber security of interest to the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA).

Eligibility

  • Undergraduate candidates must be at least second-year college students enrolled as sophomores or juniors full-time in a four-year college or university at the time of application. Online programs are eligible.
  • A current overall GPA of 3.0 or higher in the current program at an accredited U.S. college or university required at the time of application.
  • Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

Additionally, applicants must be in one of the following majors:

  • Cybersecurity
  • Computer science
  • Digital forensics
  • Information assurance
  • Information technology
  • Electronic engineering
  • Other field related to the support of U.S. cyber enterprises

The following categories of students are not eligible for STEM Majors scholarships:

  • Students attending a community college and planning to attend a four-year university
  • Students attending a two-year college
  • Freshman or seniors in a four-year university
  • High school seniors
