David Clark formed the David, Melinda, and Savannah Clark Scholarship in Hospitality to assist students in obtaining their hospitality degree at South Alabama. David is the President and CEO of Visit Mobile and continues to be an integral part of starting the HTM degree program.

• The criteria to be used in awarding the David, Melinda and Savannah Clark Scholarship in Hospitality are as follows:
• Full-time undergraduate student
• 3.0 or higher GPA or a converted GPA equivalent to 3.0
• Student in the Hospitality & Tourism Management degree program within the College of Education & Professional Studies

Preference will be given to students who also meet the following criteria in addition to the requirements listed above:

• Sophomore and higher
• Demonstrated financial need as determined by the University
