The Douglas & Elizabeth Borchers University of Dayton Scholarship is designed to support a senior from Russia High School who demonstrates strong community and school service, academic performance, financial need, and has received recommendations. This scholarship gives preference to students planning to enroll at the University of Dayton, with secondary consideration for those enrolling in a Catholic college or university.

• A Russia High School senior with a GPA of no less than 3.2. Preference is for a student planning to enroll at the University of Dayton. If no qualified applicants indicate they are enrolling at the University of Dayton, the scholarship may be awarded to a student enrolling in a Catholic college or university identified by the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities.
• Selection based upon (in order of priority): Demonstrated community and school service, academic performance, financial need and recommendations.
• One $1,000 scholarship, renewable for up to three (3) additional years
