Established in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. has been established to assist students with their educational pursuits.

• Applicants should be full-time undergraduates who have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.80 and have completed a minimum of 30 South Alabama hours.
• Recipients must be first-generation college students and demonstrate financial need or socioeconomic disadvantage as determined by the University.
• Scholarship recipients will be chosen by a Selection Committee to receive a non-renewable award of $500.00 each to be disbursed in the Fall Semester.
