Established in 2019 by Dr. Leigh Anne Jernigan Minchew, the Elizabeth Jeanette Smith Jernigan Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund aims to support students whose lives have been impacted by a family member with terminal cancer.

• Recipients must be full-time undergraduate junior or seniors enrolled in the College of Nursing with a 3.0 or greater GPA.
• Preference will be given to students who are first-generation college students and those who have lost a family member to cancer.
