This Fund was established by Gerald "Jerry" Rennels who was a private pilot and enjoyed flying throughout the country.

• Designated for: Students who are studying airline mechanics or airline pilot training at Aims Community College.
• College Enrollment: Students must be enrolled at Aims Community College. If Aims Community College does not offer airline mechanic training and/or pilot training, students may attend another accredited institution.
• Specialized Study: Student must be pursuing a degree/certificate as an airline mechanic or airline pilot (undergraduate only).
• Other Criteria: Students must have demonstrated financial need.
• Renewable: Yes, for up to four years or the completion of an airline mechanics or airline pilot training degree/certificate program. Students must maintain good academic standing and a minimum GPA of 2.50 and show demonstrated financial need.
