The Gus and Ethel Wolters Scholarship, in memory of M.E. Wolters and Anna Baumgarten Wolters, was established to be used exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the United States.

• Citizen of the United States
• Resident of Lavaca County, Texas
• Enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student
• Demonstration of scholastic aptitude, potential and character
• Graduate of Shiner High School or St. Paul's High School in Shiner, Texas
• Attend or plan to attend a Texas college or university
• Intend to major in one of the following fields of study: applied arts, business, religion or science
• Earned a minimum 3.2 GPA out of a 4.0 GPA scale
