This Fund was established by Theresa and Bill Hertneky to recognize undergraduate students, with a preference for first generation students; for their hard work, community involvement and civic efforts.

• Designated for: Undergraduate students (not incoming freshman) who demonstrate involvement in their community.
• Specialized Study: Must be majoring in Accounting, Business, Ag Business, or Business Management.
• College Enrollment: Any accredited university or community college in the state of Colorado.
• Minimum GPA:  Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75.
• Other Criteria: Preference will be given to students who are Colorado residents with demonstrated financial need.
• Renewable: Yes, but the recipient must reapply using the current Weld Community Foundation Scholarship application each year.
• Scholarship Amount:  Varies
