John B. Taylor Music Scholarship

Description

John B Taylor (1916-2000) received his degree in music education from Chicago's Vandercook School of Music before returning home to Aberdeen, SD. There he taught, led an orchestra and in 1945 opened Taylor Music. In 1960 he moved his family of five to Wenatchee and purchased Barnhart Music. He taught music at every grade level and performed professionally throughout NCW. In the 1970's he was the music director at WVC. This scholarship provides financial aid to those pursuing a degree in music.
