John M. Compton Scholarship. This scholarship was established for the purpose of providing financial assistance to a first-generation college student with a declared major in either Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, or Physics in the College of Arts and Sciences.

• Students must have a minimum 2.8 GPA and be at least a sophomore in the upcoming fall semester.
• Students must be enrolled full-time for the upcoming academic year (fall and spring) in order to apply and receive this scholarship.
