J&J Nursing Initiative Scholarship continues to provide promising students pursuing a career in Nursing with encouragement and financial support to help them meet the strenuous demands of the program. By supporting nursing students, J&J is enhancing the professional growth of nursing candidates in New Jersey to meet future healthcare demands.

• must be enrolled full-time at an ICUNJ member college or university as a traditional or accelerated program student;
• must be enrolled as a Nursing major;
• must be in junior or senior year of study during the award period;
• pursuing a nursing degree with plans for patient care or advanced study;
• must earn and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2/4.0;
• demonstrate financial need (as confirmed by Financial Aid office).

Additional Requirement:

• Applicants must provide in the personal statement how they anticipate contributing to the healthcare industry and the way in which their college degree will assist in achieving career goals. Personal statement my be up to 1000 words to allow incorporation of these elements.
