Kids’ Chance of North Carolina, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, offers scholarships to the children of workers affected by fatal or severe work-related accidents or occupational diseases. Scholarships, ranging from $3,000 to $6,000 yearly, are granted annually. Eligible students can reapply for up to four years.

• Between 16-25 years old at the time of the application.
• Child who is a dependent of a worker killed or seriously injured in a compensable work-related accident or occupational disease with a North Carolina employer.
• Accepted or already enrolled at a university, college or technical school.
