The Kristin Ess Hair Female Hairstylist Cosmetology Scholarship was established to bring to life our mission, to empower and support aspiring female hairstylists who are dedicated to pursuing their passion for hair and building a successful career in the professional beauty industry. Recognizing the challenges and financial barriers that many students (especially females) face, this scholarship aims to provide the necessary resources and opportunities to talented women who dream of making their mark in the world of hairstyling. By investing in the education and development of future hairstylists, the scholarship not only honors our brand’s Salon & female-founder heritage but also contributes to the growth and innovation within the beauty industry.

• The applicant must be eighteen (18) years of age or older by the start date of the program.
• The applicant must identify as female.
• Must be a student newly accepted or currently enrolled in a cosmetology program in a school/institution in the U.S. that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. The cosmetology program must lead to licensure in the United States.
