This scholarship is awarded annually to an international student (with a J-IVISA) from Eastern European and European regions or to a student that plans to study abroad in Europe. Preference is given to students from or traveling to Slovakia. This award is based on academics and leadership skills.

• Study abroad scholarships awarded by the Office of International Education (OIE) must be used on approved global learning programs.
• The OIE approves travel that meets the guidelines outlined in our travel policy.
• If a student does not participate in their global learning program for any reason scholarship funds must be returned to the OIE.
