The purpose of The Lavord and Doris Crook Endowed Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to a deserving student within the College of Education; preferably a graduate from the Monroe County, Alabama, public high schools.

• Enrolled in the USA's College of Education
• Intentions of teaching in an Alabama public school after graduation.
• a GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Preference will be given to students who graduated from public schools in the following Alabama counties: Monroe, Conecuh, Escambia, Clark, Wilcox, Houston, and Jefferson.
• To be considered for this scholarship, pelase complete the College of Education & Professional Studies Application.
