Lawrence Ginocchio Aviation Scholarship

NBAA Charities and the family and friends of Lawrence Ginocchio annually award $4,500 to each of five undergraduate students enrolled at NBAA/University Aviation Association (UAA) member institutions.The Lawrence Ginocchio Aviation Scholarship was created in 2001 by NBAA Charities and the family and friends of the late Lawrence “Larry” Ginocchio to honor his outstanding personal contribution to the business aviation community. Named for a remarkable man whose strength of character inspired a high standard of caring in the aviation community, this scholarship recognizes those individuals who have demonstrated honesty, integrity and selflessness in their dealings with others. These individuals should possess a passion for aviation, as Larry Ginocchio did, and utilize their interest or involvement in business aviation to enhance the lives of others.Awards will be made to U.S. citizens without regard to sex, race, religion or national origin.

Eligibility

- Full-time undergraduate students enrolled or accepted into an aviation management program at an two or four year school; - rising sophomore or higher standing, with a minimum GPA of 3.0.- Candidates should possess a passion for aviation and demonstrate honesty, integrity and selflessness.
