Maribeth Ehasz First Generation Endowed Scholarship

Description

This scholarship aims to assist full-time undergraduate students who are Florida residents, U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens, and who have demonstrated financial need as determined by FAFSA. Applicants must not have received a baccalaureate degree and must be considered first-generation college students, meaning neither of their parents holds a college degree at the baccalaureate level or higher. Additionally, applicants should have shown involvement and leadership at UCF.

Eligibility

  • Applicant must be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student at UCF.
  • Applicant must be a Florida Resident and U.S Citizen or eligible Non-Citizen.
  • Applicant must not have received a baccalaureate degree.
  • Applicant must demonstrate financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
  • Applicant must not have defaulted on or owe a refund to any previous aid program.
  • Applicant must be considered as ‘First Generation’.
  • First Generation Student is defined as neither of the student’s parents earned a college degree at the baccalaureate level or higher.
  • Applicant will have demonstrated involvement and leadership at UCF.
  • The criteria for awarding the Scholarship will be consistent with the guidelines established by the University of Student Financial Assistance.
