Established by Mary’s children, Burl and Lois, this fund exemplifies Mary’s love of the farm, her role as farm wife and mother, and her contribution as a business partner.
Eligibility
Applicants must: 1) be graduating students or past graduates of a Hancock County, Indiana public high school;
2) be current residents of Hancock County, Indiana;
3) be in pursuit of or plan to pursue a bachelor’s degree in agriculture at a land-grant college, university or one of their affiliates; and
4) have a minimum grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
SELECTION CRITERIA: Selection will be based on a written essay, and financial need may be considered. A personal interview is required.
