Created by MCHC leadership in honor of the organization’s founder, Linnea Hunter, to support high school and college-aged dependents of active Mendocino Community Health Clinic, Inc. employees (with at least one year of continuous service as of the date of application and who are still employed at the time the scholarship is awarded).

• Location/School: Ukiah and Willits dependents of MCHC employees
• GPA Requirement: Weighted 2.5 (vocational) or 3.0 (two or four-year college) or higher
• Financial Need: Yes
• Requirements: A history of giving back to one’s school, community, and/or family and a commitment to public service or helping others
• Special Requirements: Submission of parent employment verification form
• Exclusion: Children of employees who are eligible for the MCHC Health Centers tuition reimbursement program may not simultaneously apply for this scholarship program.
