NCCPA Foundation Scholarships

Description

The NC CPA Foundation offers three scholarship levels to support aspiring CPAs. Your eligibility will determine which scholarship level you qualify for—the application will automatically match you with the appropriate option.

To apply, you must be an NCACPA member and enrolled in a North Carolina college/university. Student membership is FREE and simple to obtain through this link. Previous scholarship recipients are eligible to reapply each year.

Eligibility

  • All applicants must be NCACPA members to apply for a scholarship. Student membership is FREE and may be obtained here.
  • You must be either (i) enrolled in a North Carolina college/university and attending on campus, or (ii) enrolled in an online program provided by a North Carolina college/university and residing in North Carolina.
  • Prior award winners are eligible to apply for scholarships through the NC CPA Foundation.
  • Students with full-time or part-time enrollment status are eligible.
  • Scholarship awards will be mailed directly to the recipient by December 31, 2024.
  • Community College ($1,500 scholarship):Students enrolled at North Carolina community colleges, on-campus or online*, who are pursuing an associate degree with the intent to enroll in a four-year program and/or have the potential to become a CPA.
  • Undergraduate Program ($2,000 scholarship):Students entering or enrolled at a North Carolina 4-year college/university, on-campus or online*, in an undergraduate program that will allow them to achieve the accounting concentration required to sit for the CPA Exam or to earn the undergraduate hours needed to enroll in a graduate program in order to achieve the concentration.
  • Graduate Program ($2,500 scholarship):Students entering or enrolled in graduate programs at North Carolina universities, on-campus or online*, that will allow them to achieve the accounting concentration required to sit for the CPA Exam.

*If you are attending a North Carolina community college, college, or university online, you must be residing in North Carolina to be eligible for the scholarship.
