This scholarship was established by the Community Foundation of South Alabama under Advisor William R. Piercy to be awarded in January of each year to sophomores, juniors and seniors attending USA full time, in-discriminant of gender race and religion.

• Student should be majoring in math, engineering, physics, chemistry, biology, zoology, botany, or geology.
• Student must have a minimum 2.8 GPA, be a U.S. citizen, and a permanent resident is one of the following Alabama counties: Baldwin, Choctaw, Clarke, Conecuh, Escambia, Mobile, Monroe or Washington.
