Mary Jo Hrabe established the Patricia Ann Hrabe Scholarship in Education to honor and remember her sister-in-law. Patricia received her bachelor of science degree in secondary education-social studies at the University of South Alabama in 1972.This sholarship was created to support future educators in Mobile.

• Recipients must be full time undergraduates with a 3.0 or higher institutional GPA, pursing a degree that will lead to an Alabama Teaching Certificate.
• Preference will be given to students who have completed thier freshman year and those who attended high school in Mobile County.
• This scholarship is eligible for renewal in subsequent years.
