The Pratt & Whitney Engine Maintenance Training Scholarship offers six scholarships, each valued at $5,500, to individuals pursuing a career as A&P mechanics. The scholarship covers one pre-scheduled Pratt & Whitney or Pratt & Whitney Canada engine maintenance training course, domestic airfare, and hotel accommodations. The scholarships are valid for two years from the date they are received. The training options include attending an instructor-led Pratt & Whitney commercial engine maintenance course or a Pratt & Whitney Canada engine maintenance course.

• Must be close to finishing Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) schooling and obtaining their Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license, or must be a recent graduate who has recently obtained their A&P license.
• Cannot be a past Pratt & Whitney scholarship recipient or a Pratt & Whitney employee.
• Academic Level Requirement: Must be nearing completion of AMT schooling or be a recent graduate with an A&P license.
• Major Courses Required: Aviation maintenance technology.
