President Josiah R. Bonner, Jr.'s Endowed Scholarship was established in January 2023.  President Bonner was named President of the University of South Alabama following more than a decade of representing Alabama's First District in the U.S. House of Representatives.  This annual award aims to impact many generations of future Jaguars who are pursuing a degree in Communications at USA.

• Must be pursuing a degree in Communications at USA
• Applicants must be incoming full time undergraduates freshmen with a 3.0 or higher high school GPA, and a have a 23 or higher ACT/convereted SAT score.
