This scholarship was established in 2013 for the purpose of providing financial assistance to a full-time undergraduate student majoring in Economics and Finance with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Donations from Mrs. Joyce Hunsader and her son, Dr. Kenneth Hunsader, made this scholarship possible. They established this scholarship in memory of Joyce's husband, Robert, and son, Joseph. Robert passed away from cancer in 2000, and Joseph died suddenly from a heart attack in 2013. Both farmers, Robert and Joseph, were influential and supportive of Kenneth earning his doctoral degree, and both were always willing to give up their time to lend a hand to those in need. This scholarship honors their memory and continues their legacy of helping others.
