Established in April 2022 by Robin A. Hurst to provide an annual award to exemplary Engineering students. Mr. Hurst graduate from the University of South Alabama in 1968 and was a member of the first class of South Engineers.

• Recipients must be full time undergraduates with a 3.0 or higher institutional GPA.
• Preference will be given to a junior of senior majoring in and engineering field.
