Tanya D. Bloker Memorial Scholarship

Description

As the head of marketing for Corium, a biopharmaceutical company leading the development of central nervous system healthcare therapies, Tanya Bloker was passionate about people. This was evident in her tenacious spirit and the way she approached her work supporting patients and new treatments for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Her love for people extended to her commitment to those who worked around her, helping them to achieve their potential, and to those less fortunate by finding ways to support them. Tanya always stressed the importance of “meeting people where they are”. She met everyone with a level of respect and understanding that is rare in this world. It made her an amazing leader, friend, and human. The Tanya D. Bloker Memorial Scholarship has been established in her memory, to support students in greater metro Boston (MA) who have been diagnosed with ADHD and who are pursuing a college education.

The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals.
