​The FNSNA Undergraduate General Scholarship Program

Description

Open to all currently enrolled nursing students across the country, the Undergraduate Scholarship Program awards scholarship funds based on a set of criteria established by the sponsor of the scholarship. These scholarships typically reflect a specific area of specialization within the nursing profession such as oncology, critical care, or emergency nursing or a certain population of the nursing profession that is often underrepresented. Funding is up to $10,000 per academic year.

Eligibility

  • ​Undergraduate scholarships are available to students currently enrolled in a state-approved nursing program leading to an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN), Diploma in Nursing (hospital-based nursing program), Direct-Entry Master’s Degree, LPN/LVN-RN Degree, RN-BSN/MSN Degree, or Accelerated BSN    (12-18 Month Program). Funds are not available for graduate study unless it is for a first degree in nursing. ​                                                                                  Students must graduate after July 1, 2025 to be eligible to apply.
  • ​Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or Alien with U.S. Permanent Resident Status or hold an Alien Registration Number.
