The NKL Aerospace Engineering Scholarship

Description

The NKL Aerospace Engineering Scholarship, valued at $1,000, is designed to support students pursuing a degree in aerospace engineering. The scholarship is awarded to individuals who demonstrate academic excellence, financial need, and a commitment to community service, particularly in STEM and aviation-related activities. The funds will be paid directly to the recipient's educational institution.

Eligibility

  • Must be enrolled or accepted in an accredited two- or four-year college, technical institution, or certificate program.
  • Must have a declared major in aerospace engineering.
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen.
  • Must volunteer in STEM and aviation-related events and/or WAI activities.
  • Must submit a 500-1,000 word essay addressing financial need, inspiration for pursuing aerospace engineering, career goals, and involvement in aviation and community service.
