TMCF | BRIDGING THE DREAM SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS

Description

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and The Sallie Mae Fund are proud to offer financial assistance to forty (40) current outstanding high school seniors who plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two or four year college, university, or continuous education program. Scholars who are selected will receive a scholarship up to $10,000 for the 2024-2025 academic school year.

Eligibility

  • Be currently enrolled as a high school senior for the 2023-2024 academic year.
  • Plan to be a full time student during the 2024-2025 academic year.
  • Plan to be enrolled at an accredited post-secondary institution or continuous education programopens in a new window during the 2024-2025 academic year:
    • Two-year Schools
    • Four-year Schools
    • Vocational/Technical certificate/certification program
  • Current cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or higher.
  • Be Pell-Grant eligible
  • Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551.
  • Be a diverse candidate. Diverse shall include, but not limited to:
    • Gender

    • Belonging to an underserved community
  • Able to demonstrate leadership abilities.
  • Able to demonstrate good moral character in all aspects of your life, including personal, professional, educational, in your community, and online presence.
