The Vera DoLean Ginn Kiwanis Scholarship supports Shelby County residents who are committed to pursuing a career in elementary education. This scholarship aims to assist students who demonstrate financial need, academic ability, and a dedication to community and school service.

• A Shelby County resident pursuing a career in elementary education. Must have a high school or college GPA of no less than 3.5 and are pursuing a certificate or an Associate’s, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Selection based upon: Intent to pursue the field of elementary education, financial need, academic ability, community and school service, recommendations.
• Two $1,000 scholarships
