The W.T. Yett Scholarship was established in 1991 by W.T. Yett, a rancher and businessman who lived in Blanco County. The scholarship benefits deserving graduates from Blanco County high schools needing the financial resources to complete their education.

• Citizen of the United States
• Resident of Texas
• Graduate of a high school in Blanco County or LBJ High School in Johnson City, Texas
• Demonstration of good character
• Financial assistance need
• Display academic potential and ability
• Plan to attend a Texas college or university
• Enrollment as a first-time and full-time student (12 hours or more) in the fall semester of 2025
• Earned a minimum 2.0 GPA out of a 4.0 scale​
