The WAI Atlanta "Wheels Down South" Chapter Scholarship is a $1,000 award designed to support individuals pursuing their aviation dreams, whether in flight, maintenance, management, or other aviation-related fields. The scholarship aims to assist with educational or career advancement costs.

General Requirements:

• You must be a current member of Women in Aviation International by October 1, 2024, and your membership must not expire before March 2025. You may apply for up to three scholarships.

ADDITIONAL SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS:

• Applicants will be evaluated based on merit, career aspirations, dedication, contributions to the community, and adherence to application guidelines.
• A 500-word essay is required, detailing the applicant's aviation goals, how the scholarship will aid in achieving these goals, where the funds will be utilized, and a timeline for goal completion.
• Preference will be given to members of the Atlanta Chapter, but all applicants are welcome.
