The WASP Elaine D. Harmon Tailwheel Scholarship, valued at up to $1,500, is offered in memory of WASP pilot Elaine D. Harmon. The scholarship supports tailwheel endorsement training to encourage pilots to become involved in the warbird and vintage aircraft community. This endorsement is often required to pursue a warbird pilot rating. The scholarship aims to help preserve historic airplanes and educate the public about aviation history.
