The Woody Sturm and Sturm Family Skills Scholarship is designed to support seniors from Sidney High School who have been active members of the SHS Football team for at least their junior and senior years. This scholarship aims to assist these students in furthering their education through accredited adult education programs, trade schools, or by pursuing up to an Associate’s Degree at an accredited college. The selection process emphasizes the number of years on the football team, character, work ethic, and strong recommendations.

• Sidney High School seniors who participated on the SHS Football team for no less than their junior and senior years of high school.
• Must be planning to attend an accredited adult education program or trade school or pursuing up to an Associate’s Degree at an accredited college.
• Selection based upon: Number of years on the SHS Football team, character, work ethic, and recommendations.
• One $1,000 scholarship
